Another reason to take up the pro graps. You're already living the dojo life. -Satsuki sighed, sitting up enough to look back at Jen over her shoulder, her own hair dusting over her face, and she really didn't care to wipe it away.-
I want to believe it's gonna be worth it, but I worry about you. I want you to be happy, more than I want you to be the star athlete everyone's trying to make you into.
[ Jen's as quick to try and wipe away that concern as she is to brush the hair from Satsuki's eyes. ] Don't worry about me. My future's in the cards, and all I've got to do is play the awesome hand I was dealt.
[ or work really hard to stack the deck in her favor. the plan may be her mother's to a large degree, but the ambition? that's her own. it might be her way to finally find the freedom she's never known. ] Besides. We can still have fun this summer!
-Satsuki took a moment to just find her smile, trying to have faith in the situation. Her worries wouldn't be dismissed that easily, but it was easy to at least try, seeing how Jen was smiling.-
Alright... I still need to give you a tour of the Mayship.
Oh yeah! I mean, I kind of remember it from afar but the "blank" me didn't really want to trust getting on it. [ another chuckle. she took this opportunity to pause, reach over, and get her glass for a quick sip. ]
I'd say it's a shame, but that just means I get to experience it myself for the first time for real.
They probably don't want you to try to cram everyone onboard and flee.
[ back to rubbing, but she didn't wipe off the droplets of condensation from her fingers before she did so. oops. ] Or take people skydiving. God, can you imagine?
I only play a pirate in the ring. -She let out another soft sound, melting into the bar.- Other me may have been a brazen criminal but I don't think I've got the chops for it.
Fair enough. But I'm pretty sure it's going to get to the point with me where I can do that kind of stuff without even needing a parachute. And if I want to jump from the Towers again without a parachute, it's not technically base-jumping and thus not technically illegal, right?
[ yeah Jen. really wants to do that again. maybe it was the worst way to get her name into people's minds when she got here but at the same time, 1) it worked, and 2) her mother got her out of trouble in the end so it wouldn't do permanent damage to her career.
all this talking and she's not quite paying attention to her hands drifting inward toward the sides of Satsuki's neck muscles. it's all so knotted up around here it's hard to tell where the problems begin and end. but those sounds? they're totally worth it. ]
-Satsuki let her head roll around in those comforting fingers, strength and tenderness sharing space in how they eased out all of her stress and the abuse she put her body through that night. A lot of nights.-
Well if I get the Mayship flying, you'll be the first to know. Or, I guess everyone on the beach will be the first, but eh. -Another long sigh, edge of a moan.-
You'd bett— ahh! [ that gasp came with Jen bumping right up against Satsuki in the chair as someone tried to squeeze past others at the bar and these two. okay, so Jen was technically kind of blocking the way and not paying attention but. wow, she did not need that right then and there.
or maybe she did. with a bit of a growl to her voice, she turned her head at the offending party who, to their credit, did pause to apologize. ] H-hey, watch out!
-Satsuki was lucky she didn't knock the drinks over as her chest suddenly bumped into the bar cushion, but... hmm. She... sure was just gonna let herself, uh. Lean back. Into Jen. Because that was a very comfortable cushion at the moment.
The other patron was quick to apologize, at least. Lost their balance trying to head to the bathroom. Also gave a shot out to Satsuki and complimented her on her match tonight. Huge fan.-
Hey, no problem... -Satsuki kind of murmured, sipping her drink, still very much in a comfortable place all of the sudden.-
[ wait, just how long was that going on? Jen let herself get too distracted by what was happening around her and not what was happening to her. she gave an awkward sort of laugh before rapping her fingers against Satsuki's shoulders. ] Ahh, having fun down there?
[ it's funny because there's no way she would be, right? hahaha! ha. ]
-Satsuki giggled, finishing off her drink.- You're turning me into a fun puddle. And I've found a bowl I fit into. -Namely, leaning against Jen's chest.-
Ack! -Satsuki nearly doubled over, pushing her hips out, and it was a damn good thing the stool was attached to the bar itself or else she would have fallen on her ass right there.-
Haha, a weakness has been spotted! Will her opponent get the mighty pirate to finally yield? [ it's a poor approximation of an announcer's voice, but it gets the point across. Jen is good about keeping herself steady so that neither of them fall over, while also making sure to keep up the assault on Satsuki's sides. people are probably staring but whatever! ]
-Eh, it wasn't like it was the first time Satsuki and Jen had been cute together in the bar. The staff even had a few giggles. Satsuki was mostly flailing, trying to not break something with accidental super strength. Or knock over her glass.-
I tap, I tap! -She said, rapidly slapping the bar.-

either way, she raised her hands in triumph. ] Hurray! I win!
And to the victor go the spoils. [ she will just reach on over and intercept Satsuki's new drink and take a big gulp...
ending up in a coughing fit, most like. see this? this is part of why she doesn't usually drink. ] Eeugh! Nevermind. You can keep it. Ahem.

I got a taste for this stuff when I was in Japan. They don't fool around in the motherland, lemme tell you.
